The Walk

A reappropriation of time and space, of slowness, of gaze, of physicality. Searching reconnections. In The Walk I engage myself in a series of journeys indifferently through closed and open spaces: rooms, corridors, forests, roads, bridges, all sorts of visual landscapes. A series of journeys that I trace as they are consumed, with their rhythms, their urgencies, the pauses, the silences, the repetitions, the expectations. Walks to take moment by moment and without any destination, but with the intent to explore myself and everything around me. I haven't lost anything, everything is here, everything comes back.

Riappropriarsi del tempo e dello spazio, della lentezza, dello sguardo, della fisicità. Cercare riconnessioni. In The Walk mi impegno in una serie di viaggi, indifferentemente attraverso luoghi chiusi e aperti: stanze, corridoi, boschi, strade, ponti, ogni sorta di paesaggio visivo. Una successione di viaggi che traccio mano a mano che vengono consumati, con i loro ritmi, le loro urgenze, le pause, i silenzi, le ripetizioni, le attese. Passeggiate da compiere attimo dopo attimo e senza alcuna destinazione, se non l’intento di esplorare me stessa e ogni cosa che mi circonda. Non ho perso niente, tutto è qui, tutto torna.
